Job Description:
TransForce is seeking a full-time Intermodal Trailer Technician
to maintain and repair shipping containers and chassis. This role
requires technical expertise in mechanical systems, alongside a
commitment to ensuring safety and fleet efficiency. By joining our
team, you will play a critical part in sustaining the operational
standards and reliability that TransForce is known for in the
transportation sector. Perform routine maintenance and emergency
repairs on intermodal containers and chassis. Inspect,
troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic
systems. Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle
requirements by testing parts and systems. Complete job reports and
documentation for maintenance and repairs. Maintain tools and
equipment for job readiness and safety compliance. Communicate
effectively with logistics managers and other technicians to ensure
efficient operations. Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASE Certification
preferred (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence)
Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus for field testing.
