The Reception and Treatment Center is currently seeking
self-motivated, results-driven candidates for the position of
Laundry Operator. Information about the Nebraska Department of
Correctional Services (NDCS) can be found at:

megan.jones@nebraska.gov. Duties: Control operations of laundry to
include washing, drying, ironing, sorting, delivery and maintenance
using inmate labor. Maintain safety and sanitation of laundry area.
Requirements / Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Experience
in commercial housekeeping, sanitation, and/or laundry operations
with responsibility for procuring and storing cleaning agents and
supervising subordinates. Any equivalent combination of education
and experience will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: At
least two years of correctional experience to include supervision
of inmates. Other: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with
assistance. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the
following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at
a randomly announced time, pass a drug test. Once at the Staff
Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NE
