This position provides the day-to-day support and development of ServiceNow, including but not limited to updates, enhancements, configurations, and reporting.**A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER WILL---.**--- Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert, ensuring its success as the unified system of record--- Design, maintain, and implement technical solutions, specifications, and documentation for various-sized projects or daily support initiatives--- Primary contact for end users and technical stakeholders to offer assistance for ServiceNow system configuration, planning, requirements gathering, training, and report generation--- Develop a thorough understanding of Nelnet business needs and processes in order to assist with recommendations for automation where appropriate--- Provide post-implementation and upgrade support including, but not limited to, monitoring application performance, debugging support, and system/unit testing--- Keep abreast of advancements and changes in the ServiceNow platform and develop an understanding of how new features can be leveraged to provide business solutions.**EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPETENCIES****YOU SHOULD HAVE---**--- Past experience with ServiceNow platform development across multiple modules--- Significant experience with Javascript, HTML, and CSS.--- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences--- Excellent organization skills and an ability to follow issues/requests to completion--- Knowledge of Agile framework for managing development work--- Passion for providing great customer service--- Ability to obtain a security clearance**IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU ALSO HAD---**--- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field--- ServiceNow Certified Developer Certification--- Familiarity with ServiceNow Employee Center and ES6--- Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub and RESTful API integrations with external systems (Active Directory, MS Teams, Workday, etc)Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, HSA and FSA, generous earned time off, 401K/student loan repayment, life insurance & AD&D insurance, employee assistance program, employee stock purchase program, tuition reimbursement, performance-based incentive pay, short- and long-term disability, and a robust wellness program.
