Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: OR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours plus call Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Driver's license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience handling total joints, robotics, and general laparoscopic cases Experience in urology, hand and foot, breast cases including reconstructions Description: This position involves working in the operating room as a surgical tech. The department handles a mix of outpatient procedures including orthopedic, general, ob-gyn, robotic, plastics, ENT, urology, hands, podiatry, and breast reconstructions. A total of 6 operating suites are available. On average, over 400 cases are performed each month. Candidates should be fast and efficient, with strong attention to detail. Teamwork and great interpersonal skills are critical in this environment. Willingness to take call shifts, even on short notice, is essential. Flexibility to change shifts based on changing volumes is required. A positive and engaging workplace culture is a priority. Staff engagement with anesthesia and surgeons contributes to the success of the team. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within the surgical tech team.
