Insurance Implementation Analyst - Commercial Lines

Job Description:

The Insurance Implementation Analyst needs to be solutions-focused individual who is a clear communicator with experience in an analyst role as well as being a self-starter, well organized, and highly detailed. This role will be primarily property and casualty focused; and will need a solid understanding of property and casualty insurance knowledge base. Individual will work cross-functionally across all areas of the organization in obtaining a well-rounded understanding of what our divisions are asking for and to determine if we have the ability to deliver it within the constraints of our environment as well as creating, maintaining, and updating documentation. Core Duties Translate stakeholder input into meaningful business requirements Present and/or discuss project scope across all levels of the organization Ability to take business requirements and turn into stories that the scrum team can deliver against Work cross-functionally across all areas of the organization - insurance, pricing, underwriting, claims, developers, insights, legal, product, user experience designers and other subject matter experts Use analytical and critical thinking Well-rounded understanding of the "ask" along with the ability to deliver it within the constraints of our environment Employ the appropriate technical tools, which are ever evolving, in all facets Use time management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple streams of work at one time Identify opportunities to improve operations, processes, and deliver improvements Manage, create, and maintain documentation on products and processes Coordinate rollouts of features projects and product lines as well as lead projects and feature teams Maintain knowledge and understanding of technology-based tools and solutions Develop and maintain solid relationships Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience 5 to 7 years of Property & Casualty Insurance Experience Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business/Economics, Science, or Mathematics or similar fields Proven experience in analyst role Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent analytical skills Solutions focused Solid project management skillset Manage dependencies, risks, and timelines Superior stakeholder management and relationship building skills Solid ability to plan in advance across multi-project deliverables Ability to execute with a high degree of independence and flexibility Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills Skilled in how to articulate and have difficult conversation as warranted Commitment to continually improving knowledge of registry systems and policy administration systems Willingness to keep abreast of knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry, technology available and how it can be applied to services / processes / offerings provided Must have excellent computer, internet, and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skillset Ability to resolve issues/problems independently Working Conditions Work from Home Minimum internet speed requirements 6 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload; No Satellite Compensation Competitive Salary / Benefits / PTO Physical Requirements Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks Frequent sitting Occasionally stand/walk, writing by hand, use of telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds Sort/file paperwork, rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat Consistent with its obligations under the law, the Patra Corp will provide reasonable accommodation to any employee with a disability who requires accommodation to perform the essential functions of his or her job.
