Job Description:

QC Lab Technician needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client in Lincoln, NE. -This position is for a pharmaceutical company, and they are looking for candidates with a HS diploma or associate degree in a scientific field (preferred), with experience in microbiology, environmental monitoring. -Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. -Key ResponsibilitiesConduct sampling and/or testing of micro, environmental monitoring, and/or participate in the additional support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies' requirements and company standards.

• Develops knowledge of functional area policies and procedures and performs routine testing and/or sampling functions in microbiology laboratory.
• Develops an understanding of applicable, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, utilization of good
• documentation practices (GDPs) and other regulatory authority requirements.
• Maintains all training requirements for assigned tasks.
• Works independently and/or in a team environment to meet or exceed established
• objectives, applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs).
• Understands established internal and external customer expectations and maintains effective communication pathways.
• Contributes to projects as assigned and participates in continuous improvement efforts. -Qualifications
  • High School diploma required
  • Associate's degree or higher in a Science-related field or study preferred
  • Prior lab experience is preferred
  • Prior cGMP and basic science background
  • Experience with microbiology: environmental monitoring
