As a Production Technician your duties are also to perform simple repairs and provide daily preventative maintenance on equipment, perform routine inspections of the tools and equipment, and train people on how to operate the machines. A Production Technician must be able to read technical drawings and follow instructions. This role will be able to carry out its functions in accordance with Cyclonaire's Core Values. Essential Functions--- Read and interpret technical drawings--- Fabricate metal items according to the technical drawings--- Troubleshoot issues with the drawings or equipment--- Follow OSHA safety guidelines--- Follow all existing company policies and procedures--- Other duties as assignedCompetencies: Must be able to read technical drawings and follow instructions. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent hand-eye coordination are desired. Must have the ability to read a tape measure. Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license through the company's training and certification program. Must have the ability to use hand and power tools. Must have the ability to prioritize and manage workload while meeting critical timelines with high expectations from internal and external customers. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required. Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred. Fabrication and/or welding experience is preferred.Physical Demands: Requires frequent touching, grasping, and feeling of physical equipment. Talking, hearing, and repetitive motions are required. Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Work requires constant visual ability. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds independently.Work Environment: Clean and climate-controlled manufacturing environment. May be required to work outdoors as business needs dictate. Travel Requirements: Infrequent travel may be required for training purposes.Safety: Safety shoes (steel or composite toe), safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in designated areas. Other Duties: Safe work performance is always required from each employee. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals. Required to wear or use PPE as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions. Understanding and adhering to Cyclonaire Core Values is required. Compensation details: 17.21-21.88 Hourly Wage
