We are looking for an EHS Analyst. This position provides environmental, health, and safety support to the site. Position is responsible for supporting EHS activities including, but not limited to: reporting of EHS performance in appropriate EHS data management systems; EHS technical support; tasks to ensure EHS performance and compliance; assisting with closure of EHS findings and tasks on a timely basis; and leading and tracking required training. In addition, this position is responsible for completing tasks to create a strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site in EHS teams and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering, tracking and monitoring EHS Training
  • Injury tracking and reporting
  • Safety program management
  • Conducting Site risk assessments (all levels-site, department, work cell)
  • Lead employee committee
  • Lead, track and monitor Gemba process
  • Safety analytic tracking and trending
  • PPE program management focusing on document and data control
  • IH program management focusing on document and data control
  • ISO14001 Program Management focusing on document and data control
  • Manage and track medical pre-authorization/clearance programs

    EDUCATION:
    • Minimum education/experience: High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
    • Prefer: Two (2) year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent.
    • RCRA & DOT (Haz-Waste shipping) Certification
    • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification

      SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

      • Strong organizational skills
      • Adept at utilization of company-wide system for reporting EHS data and information
      • Must have clear communication and writing skills in English
      • Demonstrated proficiency in water and wastewater sampling
      • Ability to speak in front of large groups with diverse backgrounds
      • Ability to lead and support cross-functional EHS teams
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
