Data Analyst
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To collect, analyze and report data; to be responsible for the data integrity; and to generate reports verifying and ensuring data integrity and accuracy
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE



  • Compiles data; prepares and distributes reports; and analyzes results


  • Ensures data integrity; develops and produces reports utilized in measuring data accuracy


  • May assist in the completion of appropriate client set-up and maintenance (parameter) forms


  • Supports internal and external users including reports, installation, screen, etc.


  • Creates exception reports to identify fields of incorrect data


  • Generates custom reports for internal and external client


    QUALIFICATIONS


    • Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.


    • Skills: Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills, computer literate - including Microsoft Office, organizational skills required; Experience with DAX, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and SAP preferred.


    • Experience: Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two (2) years of query and report writing experience strongly preferred. Insurance claims experience is also strongly preferred.


      Work environment requirements include -
      Physical: Computer keyboarding
      Auditory/visual: Hearing, vision and talking
      Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgement and discretion; ability to meet deadlines
      As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the state noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $40,000-$60,000. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
