Job Description:
Our client is seeking a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR in Northeast
Kansas.This job will have the following
responsibilities:Responsible for supervising, coaching, and leading
the production lines.Work side by side with Human Resources for
hiring, retention, and discipline of employeesResponsible for
leading and teaching Continuous Improvement activities to improve
manufacturing processes and reduce waste.Encourage a continuous
improvement environment by promoting new ideas and
institutionalizing 5S and other Continuous Improvement
ToolsQualifications and Requirements:Degree is preferred but will
consider experience in lieu of a degreeBilingual Spanish skills are
a plus.High-Speed Packaging Experience is requiredFDA or USDA
Experience is a plus3-5 years of supervision experience in
manufacturingSome formal Continuous Improvement / Lean
