You will be expected to promote ALLO's culture: We're Exceptional, Local, Hassle Free and Honest.RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with Allo design team and review current OSP design to understand principles and practices of current Allo FTTH design.Plan and design FTTH networks following construction and government standards using 3-GIS design software.Review auto generated network designs Allo design guidelines to ensure adherence to Allo design guidelines.Coordinating with the Engineer and Senior Fiber Designer, Plan and FTTH networks following construction and government standards utilizing GIS software (3-GIS)Ability to utilize survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other geographic data for consideration in FTTH designWork with Construction and Customer service to ensure outside plant and address data in all systems accurately reflect as-built state.Update existing GIS databases (3-GIS) utilizing As-Built drawings and electronic data sources.Review and correct auto generated network designs utilizing Allo design guidelines.Generate maps from GIS software (3-GIS) for permitting, construction, splicing, and general design.Colorado Residents: typical pay range for this role will be from $18 - $22 per hour depending on experience.EDUCATION: High School diplomaAssociates Degree PreferredEXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Fiber DesignCartography or Community Fiber Planning experience is strongly preferredExperience with Google Maps/Earth, AutoCad, ESRI, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office SuiteSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Attention to detail is paramount.Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions.Ability to work independently on multifaceted projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills to present facts clearly and accurately in graphic form.Experience working to tight deadlines.Excellent analytical skills.Must be able to work overtime as required.People are our passion.
