Job Summary NEBCO is looking for a high performing, results-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of business systems analyst experience. They will possess high analytical skills and ability to deliver technology solutions to advance the business. The Business System Analyst will work closely with management and end-users to implement packaged business applications and other process and technology solutions designed to improve operational efficiencies, achieve competitive advantage and/or comply with regulations. Key Duties & Responsibilities Consults with business to understand objectives. Documents understanding of needs. Studies best practices and technology trends within the construction and building material industries and analyzes how they could positively impact our operations. Analyzes business requirements, develops recommendations to improve business processes. Documents as is and to be process flows, studies application system capabilities, evaluates alternatives, plans for and implements new systems and processes. Works with end-users to configure off-the-shelf/packaged business application software that is scalable to other NEBCO business units. Develops standard processes, documents procedures and trains end-users. Provides production support to users in application use and associated business procedures. Troubleshoots issues and performs root-cause analysis to implement fix to ensure the system or process is corrected to avoid recurring incidents. Provides project controls by identifying and monitoring key milestones, tasks, deliverables and target dates. Position Requirements and Education

  • A bachelor s degree, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a business systems analyst role required.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing packaged/off-the-shelf software preferred.
  • In depth, hands-on experience with configuring software applications used to process business transactions. Experience with of enterprise application software, especially Lawson preferred.
  • Knowledge of common business processes preferred. Subject matter expertise in accounting (AR, AP, GL), distribution, supply chain or human resources and payroll a plus.
  • SQL experience a plus. Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence or reporting tools a plus.
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in the construction or building materials industry a plus.
  • Experience with a diverse, mid-sized enterprise with multiple operations and department desired Excellent communication skills.
  • Motivated to use technology as an enabler for the business.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
