Apple Roofing, LLC, is filling the position of Claims Estimator for our Supplementing Team in Lincoln, NE. Our Supplementing Team administrates insurance claim job files and sales estimates related to residential and commercial property claims. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Manage a busy, but flexible schedule

Investigate property storm damage photos using internal and external resources. Investigation steps include speaking with the adjusters or other involved parties such as project managers and requesting and receiving claim estimates from carriers.

Review insurance documents to confirm that the full scope of the project is included in the estimate and administer the file accordingly.

Use knowledge of roof components and measurements to create commercial and residential roof and gutter estimates by using existing documentation

Review sales estimates and put together a scope of work

Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers during supplement process

Maintain organization and upload required documents on a designated computer system

Understand insurance paperwork (adjuster's scope of loss) and justify claims of damage and repair estimates when corresponding with insurance companies

Prepare and file insurance supplements

Follow-up with insurance adjusters to get insurance supplements approved

Follow-up with client mortgage and insurance companies to obtain financial reimbursement

Represent the company professionally at all times

Engage in the company's continued education and training

Generate and manage all correspondence such as supplement estimates, contracts, and invoices for each assigned project- reviewing work for accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma

Insurance Restoration Industry Experience - Ideal but not required

Xactimate experience preferred, but not required

1+ year of inside or outside phone sales or customer service experience
