Responsibilities:Under the direct supervision of the Plant
Engineer, this position performs HPP maintenance operations and
supervises at the Lincoln, NE location. The HPP Maintenance
Supervisor is responsible for facility maintenance in our HPP
Production Area and directing the operations of a plant maintenance
team.Use technical knowledge of plant process equipment including
electrical, pumps, agitators, and manufacturing equipment to
perform job successfullyPerform routine and extensive preventative
maintenance and repair procedures an all Universal Pure equipment
and efficiently troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and to
maximize up timePlan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day
operations to exceed our customers' expectationsProcure and
maintain appropriate spare parts and equipment inventoriesLeads
proactively but responds quickly to urgent mattersUnderstand and
collaborate with the Plant Engineer in repairs of high pressure
processing and pasteurization equipmentCollaborates with area
Production Managers as neededAssigns tasks to respective
maintenance staff and manages the quality and timeliness of their
completionProvides coaching to staff, as neededWilling to take
responsibility for results while reliably showing good judgement,
initiative, and resourcefulnessEnsures projects are completed on
time and on budgetDevelops and manages performance metrics for
department and teamMaintains certifications and regulatory
documentationEnsure compliance with all state and federal
regulationsWorks with Finance & Accounting to create and manage
budgetProvides defined report information to leadership
teamEffectively communicate -convincingly convey instructions,
directions, and details to others in EnglishMaintains safe and
clean working environment by complying with all procedures and
regulationsKnowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS) to track work orders, PMs, and inventoryWilling to work on
various shifts and/or extended shift hours as business demand
require, primary 1st shiftIs responsible for all other duties as
assignedWe are looking for a hands-on working HPP Maintenance
SupervisorMaintenance Supervisor Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities:Minimum 5 years' experience as a Supervisor,
Manufacturing or Food Processing requiredExperience - knowledge of
OSHA and other governmental regulations; incident and accident
prevention requiredProficient mechanical, electrical, hydraulic,
and pneumatic troubleshooting skills 9PLC, HMI, SCADA system and
control circuits) and emergency repair skills requiredComputer
skills: Microsoft outlook, Excel, and Work skills requiredBasic
math skills: to include fractions, decimals, percentages, and the
metric system; efficient with ratios and formulas
requiredElectrical or HVAC certification preferredLeadership - the
ability to command and maintain attention of those you are
overseeingAbility to read and understand schematics, drawings, and
manuals to establish facts and draw conclusionsAbility to properly
use measurement instruments included but not limited to hydraulic
and electricalAbility to demonstrate proficient fabricationAbility
to safely work with ultra-high pressure equipmentAbility to
cross-train other Mechanics as well as Production
personnelOrganization - an ability to manage multiple priorities
simultaneouslyAbility to demonstrate an understanding of the
methodologies of Lean Continuous Improvement and apply these
concepts where applicable in the operationAttention to detail - the
ability to manage all duties, rules, documentation, and other
components of the job with focus and accuracyConfidentiality - the
ability to protect data, information, and employee privacyAbility
to find innovative solutions to recurring problemsMaintenance
Supervisor Physical Demands and Working Conditions:Physical
activity. Requires occasional heavy physical work; heavy lifting,
pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 poundsWork
environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks,
which require following basic safety precautionsWork may involve
moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme
temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or
loud noisesThis role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated
environment (around 35 degrees F) located within a manufacturing,
warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to
