POSITION SUMMARY:The CLUB Field Operations Partner serves as a designated operational and compliance controls resource for assigned division which is in the Great Lakes Region and candidate must reside in area of oversight. This role analyzes the current business environment and drives change that results in enhanced operations and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position ensures integration with organization-wide compliance initiatives and leads all efforts related to ongoing testing, audits and reviews. They provide technical assistance to the business unit and foster a culture of operational controls and compliance. The CLUB Field Operations Partner has the ability to consistently exceed customer expectations and show commitment to Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's Core Values.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyzes operational control and compliance adherence, identifies potential gaps and opportunities to enhance execution and ensures practice matches process within assigned business functions.
  • Performs store walks to assess day-to-day operations and effectiveness.
  • Leverages findings from CLUB operational control and compliance store walks, testing plans, FDIC, Audit and other reviews.
  • Develops, documents and tracks trend reporting to ensure effective oversight of business processes, procedures and controls and resolution of implemented solutions.
  • Leads development and execution of solutions to drive operational controls and compliance solutions including process improvement, training and communication.
  • Partners with business unit stakeholders to execute solutions and ensures appropriate processes and procedures are developed, documented and monitored.
  • Prioritizes operational controls and compliance-related efforts within the business unit based on risk, strategic priorities and business need and ensures integration with all other organizational compliance initiatives.
  • Partners consistently with store and divisional leadership and CLUB leadership to understand compliance and regulatory risks, requirements or issues relevant to the assigned business unit.
  • Ensures other solutions identified by stakeholders, to address compliance-related issues or risks, are implemented or addressed within the assigned business unit.
  • Provides technical assistance to all CLUB and retail stakeholders.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all relevant regulations and priorities, consults on business initiatives and provides information and guidance as needed.
  • Leads and participates in all operational control and compliance-related tests, audits and reviews as conducted by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leads gathering and submission of information, response to findings and development of solutions. Serves as the primary liaison for auditors, regulators and other stakeholders conducting formal audits and reviews.
  • Fosters a culture of compliance within the division and all key stakeholders at the store and divisional levels.
  • Influences leadership decision-making on operational control and compliance-related business practices and increases employee awareness and knowledge of related policies and procedures.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience: 4+ years of experience Retail or financial services
    • Multi-site experience preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
      • Experience with business unit systems, procedures, processes and general operations preferred.
      • Strong analytical skills.
      • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in order to understand business drivers and processes and effectively implement compliance solutions and process enhancements.
      • Extensive communication (written and verbal), mediation (conflict resolution) and facilitation skills.
      • Ability to positively and effectively influence decision making within the organization.
      • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams.
      • Experience with project management and related methodology.
      • Visionary with long term focus - able to see the end result. Self-starter; demonstrates personal initiative and willingly assumes responsibility and ownership.
      • Ability to create an open environment supportive of free sharing of information and ideas that is also conducive to contribution, growth and achievement.

      • Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint software.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
        • 50%PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
          • Regular computer work, sitting, standing and walking.
          • Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
            • Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor.
