caring for them.We are currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to
join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for
the setup of home medical equipment including ventilators,
monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units and other related equipment. The
Respiratory Therapist will also educate and train patients on the

and professional growthJob ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate and
provide education on home medical equipment including, but not
limited to CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators
and mechanical ventilators.Inspect, test and adjust home medical
equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficientlyReview
prescription and patient information to assess condition and
determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with
physician ordersMaintain patient records in a complete and
organized manner in compliance with accreditation standardsMaintain
current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant
respiratory therapy conceptsWork on-call after hours and weekends
as needed. Frequency is determined by center size and number of
employees available to share on-call
dutiesRequirements:QualificationsIn all states, CRT's and RRT's are
qualified for this position. Subject to state law/regulation, RN's,
LPN's, LVN's, paramedics, EMT's and other clinicians may also be
qualified for this position.Must remain certified, registered, or
licensed by the applicable state and/or national board governing
his/her clinical practice or as otherwise permitted by lawMust have
reliable personal vehicle to visit patients throughout your
assigned territory. Mileage reimbursement is providedMust maintain
a valid driver's license and auto insurance in state of residence
per company policyIn-depth knowledge of pulmonary function and
pulmonary rehabilitationStrong verbal and written communication
skillsMust be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft
Office applicationsPhysical DemandsThe employee must frequently
lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move
up to 50 pounds
