A person doing this job coordinates the installation and maintenance of IT equipment, provides computer and equipment technical support, and helps small business customers focus on their mission, not their technology. An IT Service Coordinator:

• Schedules and monitors project workflow.
• Coordinates new client project kickoff.
• Schedules internal and external resources for client projects.
• Responds to inbound client requests.
• Creates client support tickets.
• Resolves technical issues quickly, within areas of skill.
• Ensures customer expectations are achieved.
• Provides remote support for team members in the field.
• Provides scheduled remote client maintenance needs.
• Closely follows and updates process documentation.A person who excels in this job effectively problem solves technical issues alone and with the help of others, while providing operational guidance to the team.
