Technician Duties and Responsibilities:Work as a team as well as
individuals to complete assigned workAssist in training current and
new team membersAdhere to enhanced COVID cleaning procedures to
ensure our facility remains in alignment with all local, state, and
federal laws and the guidance of the CDCWill occasionally have to
use a step ladder for cleaning and organizingMay use pressure
washers or other high-powered equipmentGeneral janitorial cleaning
such as trash removal, dusting of all vertical and horizontal
surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming and/or mopping floors, cleaning glass
and windows, and spot clean wallsCleaning restrooms, kitchens, and
break rooms, wiping down communal surfacesStock supplies in
necessary areas and assist with monitoring supply inventories,
insuring supply is replenished and keeping supply room
organizedConference and breakroom upkeep, including ensuring the
refreshments remain stockedFollow health, safety, and cleanliness
standardsExcellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly
roleHandle any minor tasks related to the duties of the
positionSanitation Technician Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Prior
experience in a sanitation or janitorial role in a business setting
preferredAbility to work with limited supervisionAbility to
effectively work with others and as part of a teamMust be able to
prioritize and perform position responsibilities accurately and to
deadlineMust take direction wellAbility to communicate effectively
in EnglishAbility to balance productivity, quality, and
safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentSanitation
Technician Physical Demands and Working Conditions:This role
operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (around 35
degrees F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and
production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold
temperatures for entirety of shiftConsiderable physical activity.
Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling
required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary
part of jobWork environment involves potential exposure to hazards
or physical risks, which require following basic safety
precautionsWork may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements,
such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant
odors, and/or loud noisesRequired to lift 35 lbs. regularly and 50
lbs. occasionally. Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repetitively and up to
45 lbs occasionallyAbility to push/pull up to 250lbs on rollers
