SummaryThe Systems Administrator I will set up, configure, and support cloud based as well as internal and/or external networks and systems for the Corporate and remote offices to include the Distribution Center, Hangar, Headquarters - East, Merchandising, Kansas Cityand San Antonio offices as well as remote Teammates and some store environments. Contributes to the development and maintenance of all systems, applications, security and network configurations both on premise and in cloud environments. This position requires the ability to manage a variety of assignments through multitasking and project management. The Teammate in this role will demonstrate a range of tasks from tedious to highly technical with a high level of proficiency. Position may require an on-call rotation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities This description intends to describe the general nature and level of work performed by Teammates assigned to this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Utilize knowledge of new technology and provide recommendations for future system's needs.Maintain network equipment, server equipment, and software aligning with best practices and security standards.Perform required changes to services and equipment which includes the physical installation and configuration of network and server hardware, Telecommunications devices, appliances, and software.Develop and implement security procedures on the Corporate network that maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse based on compliance standards. Mitigate security risks associated with systems and applications that have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business.Work with enterprise architects, developers and support staff to design and implement optimal security practices when developing new application, network and server requirements.Develop, administer and maintain a growing Azure environment.Demonstrate above average to expert level administration experience in networking, Telecommunications, Azure, Powershell, Terraform, PowerBI and SQL.Lead technical analysis of additional tool implementations within cloud environments including requirements gathering, process modeling and gap analysis mitigation.Utilize information in device logs to assist with problem isolation and resolution.Develop new system and application, implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures.Monitor and analyze network and system performance. Identify status at any given time. Establish, maintain and manage user directory and email accounts.Develop documentation for installing, supporting and troubleshooting Buckle systems, server and applications.Establish guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host computer operating systems, disk arrays, fiber channel switches and other networking components.Responsible for the day-to-day administration of Active Directory, Windows/Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, Telecommunications software and hardware, and Azure environments. Collaborate with outside vendors on the design and development of new applications, network and server requirementsFulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit. Special projects and other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.CertificationsIndustry standard certifications; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCP/MCSE with focus on Cloud, SQL, Azure, BI.desired.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
