Job Description:
Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks experienced,
full-time Systems Administrator at our facility in Lincoln, NE. The
Systems Administrator is responsible for the operation, maintenance
and evolution of enterprise computer hardware and software systems.

in the future will not be considered. Responsibilities of Systems
Administrator: * Handle network server operations, security, data
backup, data recovery, network infrastructure, communication
systems and emergency management systems * Installing, diagnosing,
repairing, maintaining and upgrading all hardware, equipment and
network connections to ensure high levels of availability, and
security of the supported business applications and ensuring
optimal performance * Confer with users to discuss and evaluate
needs for network and security issues, improvements and
requirements * Research and analyze information to identify,
predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements *
Stay current with new technologies through continuing education
opportunities, such as workshops, trade articles, seminars,
conferences etc. * Train users and promote security awareness to
ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency
* Monitor network server systems, communication systems, emergency
management systems, network and plant security systems, antivirus
status, intrusion protection and security levels to safeguard
information and ensure the highest level of systems efficiencies *
Plan, develop, implement and maintain data backup procedures,
network security measures and disaster recovery operations *
Perform risk assessments and execute tests of enterprise network
systems to ensure activities and security measures are operating at
the highest levels * Coordinate with suppliers and with company
personnel to facilitate purchases for equipment, software, services
and emergency inventory for main systems and servers * Document
computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and
tests * Maintain logs related to network functions as well as
maintenance and repair records * Configure, monitor, and maintain
email applications or virus protection software * Implement and
provide technical support for voice services and equipment, such as
private branch exchange, voice mail system, and telecom system *
Provide user support as necessary Qualifications for Systems
Administrator: * 5+ years of experience in related field preferred
* Bachelor's degree or degree in related field preferred * Ability
to perform work accurately and thoroughly * Analytical skills and
ability to gather raw data and to process that data into a
meaningful form * Ability to identify suspicious and unusual
activities or events within systems and networks * Knowledge of
computer network systems and how they are interconnected to allow
users to share resources * Ability to understand and apply basic
computer and network security concepts * The behavior of not
disclosing proprietary or personal employee information to any
sources within the organization or outside the organization *
Ability to understand and apply specific firewall rules and
resources to effectively protect internal systems * Awareness and
application of the standards, processes, and procedures in place to
ensure that products comply with regulatory requirements * Ability
understand and apply basic routing and switching concepts related
to computer networking Preferred Experience for Systems
Administrator: * Experience with enterprise data-center hardware
and technology (storage systems, backup systems, etc) * Experience
with install/upgrade/administration of server and desktop
virtualization systems by VMware * Experience with enterprise
storage systems (Pure Storage, NetApp, EMC, or others) * Experience
with iSCSI, NFS or FC storage technologies * Experience with
enterprise network infrastructure * Experience with Microsoft
Server operating system and products install/upgrade/administration
* Experience with advanced Microsoft enterprise products
install/upgrade/administration (Active Directory, SQL server,
