Job Description:
A software development company is seeking a Remote Senior
Application Security Engineer.
Must be able to:
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
Partner closely with development teams to design and implement
security controls and processes
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities
and risks in products and systems
Qualifications for this position include:
3+ years of experience developing in a high level programming
language (e.g. Typescript, golang, Ruby, Python)
A prior track record of technical leadership experience
Advanced knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for web, mobile and APIs
Deep understanding of security principles and best practices,
including industry frameworks such as PCI and SOC2
4+ years of experience with software engineering or a related
field
Experience partnering with development teams to design and
implement security controls
