Writing Orders, Making Bills of Lading, Checking in Trucks, Answering Phones, Communicating with Customers and Drivers, Data Entry, and Record-keeping. This individual must be able to lead, coordinate, and prioritize Warehouse operation tasks as directed by their Supervisor. These tasks include:Responding to customer phone calls and emailsScheduling inbound and outbound trucksMaintaining bill of lading and other shipping and receiving recordsCoordination and communication with Production employees regarding productAccurately track product inventoryAssists with record maintenance and filingVerify inventory is scanned in accurately - inbound and outbound on VASGetting the week closed on MondayFollow health, safety, and cleanliness standardsExcellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly roleHandle any minor tasks related to the duties of the positionCustomer Service Rep Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:High School Diploma/GED required2 years of experience in a customer service or phone order entry role preferredComputer skills including Word and Excel required. Experience with Access preferredExperience with Warehouse Management Systems preferredHigh degree of professionalismMust be able to prioritize and perform position responsibilities accurately and to deadlineAbility to work calmly and professionally under pressureHelpful and cooperative attitude and a team playerPleasant phone voice that projects responsiveness and sincerityAbility and initiative to implement process improvementsAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to balance productivity, quality, and safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCustomer Service Rep Physical Demands and Working Conditions:This is largely a static role in an office setting. The ability to perform repetitive bending and walking is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. occasionally.This role is office-based and occasionally operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (usually 38) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility.
