Wage range based on knowledge, skills, and abilities.Benefits offered at Universal Pure:Employer-sponsored medical, dental, vision and EAP401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidays that start accruing your first week!Multiple medical plans (PPO and HDHP)Voluntary disability plans, accident insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, AD&D and Life insuranceA culture of people development and internal career growthA culture of caring, collaboration and respectInventory Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:Managing parts, work orders, and assets within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as well as train technicians on proper usage of CMMSProcure and maintain appropriate spare parts and equipment inventories.Verify inventory is scanned in accurately - inbound and outboundTrack and schedule daily maintenance workflow and equipment downtimeAssist the Maintenance Supervisor by: writing work orders, purchase orders, answering phones, communicating with customers, data entry, and record-keeping.Lead, coordinate and prioritize Maintenance operation tasks as directed by the SupervisorCollaborate with Plant Engineer, Maintenance Manager, and Production Manager to help resolve reliability issues in a timely mannerResponding to customer phone call and emailsAssigns tasks to respective maintenance staff and manages the quality and timeliness of their completionUse software to develop metrics for reporting needsMaintains certifications and regulatory documentationWorks with Finance & Accounting to create and manage department budgetMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures and regulationsFollow health, safety, and cleanliness standardsExcellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly roleHandle any minor tasks related to the duties of the positionInventory Specialist Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Valid drivers' license requiredExperience with CMMS preferredBasic math skills: to include fractions, decimals, percentages, and the metric system; efficient with ratios and formulas requiredBasic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills requiredHigh degree of professionalism requiredAbility to find innovative solutions to recurring problemsAbility to manage all duties, rules, documentation, and other components of the job with focus and accuracy by balancing productivity, quality, and safetyAbility and initiative to implement process improvementsAbility to safely work around ultra-high-pressure equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to effectively work with others and as part of a teamAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishInventory Specialist Demands and Working Conditions:This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (around 35 degrees F) located within manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift.Work may involve potential exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noisesRequires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds."We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
