Job Summary Constructors, Inc. is looking for a high performing, results-oriented Quality Control Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard worker, and reliable. This position will be responsible for technical related issues and the communication of Quality related matters, to ensure compliance with the company s standards of expectations and contract specific documents.
Key Responsibilities Responsible for sampling, testing and reporting results of aggregate and hot mix in a timely manner.
Ensure the aggregate and hot mix products delivered to job sites meet specifications.
Ability to obtain a Quality Control Technician certification from the Nebraska Department of
Transportation. Provide customer service to help provide customer satisfaction. This could include internal and external
technical communication on materials, production, and/or construction processes.
Establish and maintain relationships with material suppliers, local public agency staff, customers, and local
inspection and testing companies.
Participate in and promote safety procedures to promote a safe working environment including
compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
Preform other duties that may be assigned. Position Requirements/Qualifications

• High School diploma or a GED.
• Prefer 1 to 3 years of experience in the Quality Control field or related field.
• Valid driver s license is required.
• Strong math and computer skills required.
• Technical knowledge of materials and construction concepts.
• Ability to properly manage and prioritize resources and time.
• Team player, with strong leadership skills, who can work effectively with others.
• Ability to travel on a regular basis, with occasional overnight stays.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of
  management.
• Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and

  • On the Job Training Work Environment The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to construction conditions, health and safety of people within the work area and moving mechanical parts. The employee is subject to atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system: fumes, odors, dust or close ventilation. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
