OverviewGeneral Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is looking for an experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 50 years of expertise, General Dynamics designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.Major Position Responsibilities

• Manage the quality and prompt completion of corrective actions.
• Drive Customer corrective actions.
• Notify and escalate corrective actions that are delinquent.
• Assist all QEs in program specific corrective actions as requested or as necessary.
• Assist EHS department in corrective actions.
• Facilitate Site CAB to track action progress.
• Responsible for corrective actions that stem from internal audits or affect the business at a site level. Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • ASQ Certifications: Quality Engineer, Corrective Action Experience, Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Auditor, Manufacturing Experience.
  • Minimum 2 years required, 5 years preferred of experience working in a quality-related field in a manufacturing related environment.
  • High integrity, self directed/motivated, able to act independently using experienced judgement in decision making, work with minimal supervision, communicate appropriately, well organized with thorough attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corrective actions system compliant to AS9100. Skills/Knowledge:
