Description:From the manager:The individuals hired for the suspense team will be doing termination of accounts, they will take around 15 calls a day. The calls are around client billing, and then primarily will be researching customer needs and problems. For example, if a payment doesn't match billing they will do the research to see why. They will make any changes to the policy. MS Excel skills are a must! Must have strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task and be a team player.Company:For this position we are working with "Group" which is a section of the company that provides Vision and Dental coverage to companies employees all over the world. The business cycle of this type of work is best described in three steps; Sales, Administration (entering of policy) and customer service or claims on those policies. The Relations Department within the "Administration" step of the process is looking for a Client Service Rep to work on setting up accounts after the sales and sales support group lands the business. They will take around 30-40 calls a day, and do the processing in between calls, must be able to multitask. The Suspense team will be handling termination of accounts and looking over billing. If a pay amount doesn't match will be doing the research.Many times the representative is assigned to a specific account and is responsible for responding to e-mails and phone calls that may come in for that account. This group is very deadline based and are required to complete projects within 10 days of starting them. Employees manage 20-30 projects at a a time and need to be able to prioritize what is more time sensitive and what can wait.Client JDMust have a working knowledge of the following functions of Group Administration -- new case set up; issue; billing; collection and reconciliation of premium; processing small case policy changes; on-going administration; group terminations and final accounting.Field customer inquiries via telephone, email, or other written correspondence and utilize empathy and patience with all customers.Research of customer needs and problems; development of informed, innovative solutions; and decisive action within defined parameters of authority; to build customer loyalty while maintaining the financial and procedural integrity of the case. This includes pro-actively calling customers.A working knowledge of the functions and systems across the organization as they relate to administrative functions.Meeting or exceeding service standards with respect to accuracy, turnaround time and overall quality of work product and service.Have the ability to assess situations, communicate issues promptly, and offer thoughtful solutions.Handle and complete special assignments and projects within provided timeframes.Skills:Customer service oriented, Customer service, Microsoft office, Microsoft, Order entry, Insurance Benefits, Data Entry, Policy Holders, Inbound And Outbound Calls, Claims Follow Up, Processing Claims, Data Coordination, Team OrientedAdditional Skills & Qualifications:BS preferred but not required. Previous insurance experience preferred but not required. 6 months experience working in a position that multiple tasks were taken on at once. Candidates MUST be very team oriented and ready to work with other groups in the building. MUST be willing to help those around themCandidates must have strong Oral and written communication skills. Candidates must have a proven track record of problem solving skills. Customer Service skills for this position include timely response, strong communication skills and an understanding of the support role that they play.
