Mechanical Designer I

This position will be responsible for preparing production and
assembly drawings using computer aided drafting (primarily
SolidWorks) based on models created by equipment designers and
engineers. Some modeling and design will be involved and
understanding of these concepts and practices are necessary. To be
successful in this position, a person must be a good team player,
willing to work in a fast-paced industry, and capable of managing
multiple projects simultaneously. Minimum Requirements
- Willing to contribute within a team environment
- AAS Degree in a technical field or equivalent
- Required: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office
- Preferred: Solidworks Vault PDM, Experience using an ERP
- Effective communication skills (an audience of Project
Engineers, Project Managers, Electrical Designers, and
Customers)Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide routine drafting support.
- Prepare various drawings, 3D models, and schematics derived
from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints, and

- Ability to read and understand technical specifications,
detailed drawings, and customer specifications.

for a Mechanical Designer I on our Engineering team. This team
member will prepare production and assembly drawings using computer
aided drafting (primarily SolidWorks) based on models created by
equipment designers and engineers. This position is a member of the
Engineering Team and works hand in hand with other members to build
engineered equipment for our customers with the highest of quality.
Are you qualified?
- The Mechanical Designer I must display a strong work ethic and
attention to detail, as well as communication and time management
skills, being able to prioritize multiple tasks. You will never be
bored at Cyclonaire! Some modeling and design will be involved and
an understanding of these concepts and practices is necessary to be
successful in this position.
- Ideal candidates will have an associate degree and/or 2-3 years
of relevant experience. We are willing to train the right
