The Director of Digital Products oversees the entire life cycle
of all digital products and/or initiatives, from defining the
scope, building the technology and creating a great
customer/patron/fan experience. He/She develops and implements
policies, strategies and objectives to meet the technology and
digital product goals.
Results-driven, hands-on, and action oriented, the Director of
Digital Products will lead the customer experience and is
responsible for the vision and strategy of all digital programs and
products and drives how each internal team will play a role in its
success. A critical component to this is coordinating the disparate
efforts of different departments at JALC towards a cohesive and

Director of Digital Products will recommend, define, and develop
digital products across the organization. He/She will assist in the
creation, dissemination, engagement and monetization of audio,
video and digital content through owned and paid media as well as
through new business initiatives.

Conceptualize and manage all digital campaigns and programs from
inception, through launch, and to the customer journey.
Act as business lead for implementation and launch of new
website (currently underway).
Create the product roadmap for all digital initiatives with key
milestones, overall timeline, phases and departmental ‘puts and

Leverage key performance metrics and data to provide insights
and make strategic business recommendations.
Help to drive overall content strategy (audio, video, digital,
and multimedia) through a dual lens of mission and consumption

Concert & Education program marketing
Product marketing assets (to support radio programs and Blue
Engine Records releases)

Help to monetize digital products and services.
Track and analyze content impact across engagement, advocacy,
sales, and fundraising.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience
Minimum of 7 years’ management experience leading teams,
particularly in product management and product development in
business systems (CRM, CMS).
Proven success meeting the needs of a diverse set of internal
Strong project management orientation and experience developing
the necessary org-wide processes to support an organized and
manageable approach to projects.
Creative vision and technical skills to navigate and communicate
across teams ranging from Development to Marketing, Sales and
Customer Service in order to create the best customer journey
A strong understanding of media, sales and marketing practices,
and superior oral and written communication and presentation
A strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems
Excellent organizational, leadership and supervisory skills,
with the ability to inspire those working with him/her to
accomplish common goals.
Proactive and able to simplify complex workflows.
