Job Description:
At US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor, we're seeking a
seasoned Fleet and Facilities Manager to oversee our transportation
and facilities operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety,
and compliance throughout our network. This role is pivotal in
maintaining the effectiveness of our distribution centers and
transportation fleet that serve over 300,000 foodservice operators
nationwide. As a holder of this position, you will manage the
maintenance, enhancement, and strategic operations of our
facilities and fleet, collaborating closely with cross-functional
teams to meet and exceed operational goals while adhering to safety
standards and regulatory requirements. Manage day-to-day operations
of transportation and facility maintenance. Ensure compliance with
all safety, environmental, and operational standards and
regulations. Develop and implement maintenance procedures for all
vehicles and facilities. Oversee facility improvement projects,
coordinating with contractors and ensuring timely completion within
budget. Administer fleet management programs, including vehicle
acquisition, fuel consumption, and maintenance scheduling. Lead,
train, and develop maintenance team to achieve departmental goals.
Manage budgets and forecast maintenance and operational needs.
Strong leadership and organizational skills Experience in
facilities management and fleet operations Proficient in the use of
fleet management software Ability to manage budgets and control
