Position Details Schedule: Thur-Mon 6am-2:30pm Hourly Rate:
$16.25 /hr Requirements: Valid NE Driver's License with 2 years of
driving experience Where: Downtown Lincoln! Spirit of the Position:
The Garage Custodian / Cleaner maintains on-street parking
equipment to ensure it is in good working order through
preventative repairs, housekeeping and janitorial duties, general
labor and assembly. What will you do? Note and report any safety
condition relating to equipment or place of employment.
Housekeeping duties: sweeping, emptying trash receptacles, mopping
elevator floors, replacing lights, cleaning windows and light
fixtures, cleaning and servicing parking equipment, cleaning
elevator tracks, cleaning of elevator walls, periodic repainting of
curbs. Walk assigned route daily noting and correcting any
maintenance problems. Paint meter poles, curbs, equipment as
required. Special help may be required for events and storms
Physical Demands: Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind,
snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift continuously throughout a
shift. Ability to operate machinery and vehicles. The physical
