DevOps Engineer, Mid The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a DevOps engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges. As a senior platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms. Work with us to use cloud platform technology for good. Join us. You Have: 3 years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments 3 years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness 3 years of experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions 3 years of experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment Knowledge of developing, managing, and securing containers TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree, or 6 years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks Knowledge of creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues, including source and commercial tools in public cloud environments Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python or Linux Shell Script Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
