Job Description Job Description About the Role We are seeking dependable Field Service Technicians to support a regional project replacing payment pin pads at retail locations throughout Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. This role is ideal for someone with basic IT hardware experience who enjoys working independently, traveling, and interacting with customers. Responsibilities Travel to assigned retail locations within your region Remove and replace payment pin pads and related hardware Perform basic device setup, configuration, and testing to confirm functionality Follow project documentation, scheduling requirements, and installation standards Communicate project updates, completed work, and any technical issues Provide professional, friendly customer service at each location Requirements Previous field service, desktop support, or hardware installation experience preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 25–30 lbs. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Willingness to travel within Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota (mileage reimbursed) Strong communication skills and professionalism when working with store personnel Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and complete documentation accurately Basic knowledge of point?of?sale (POS) or payment hardware is a plus, but not required Tools Required Standard PC tool kit Smartphone (to take and send photos) Security torque screwdriver Double?sided tape Zip ties Velcro straps Wire cutters What We Offer Competitive hourly rate mileage reimbursement Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
