Discover more at /about.The Sr Automation Developer reports to the IT Manager of IT Sofrware and Automation Division and works in our automation environment, upgrading existing scripts, and seeks out new processes to automate. Additionally, the Sr. Automation Developer serves as a coach and mentor to junior team members in advanced scripting and automation practices.Maintains and develops both new and existing Windows batch and PowerShell scripts.Evaluates potential impact of new custom applications, documents custom applications and changes to existing custom applications.Interprets existing code for the purpose of modification and resolution of business inquiries/enhancements.Participates in IT development team code reviews and decisions; communicates with end users regarding system requirements and functionality.Utilizes proficient, test-driven development and modern scripting practices.Monitors and responds to system failures to ensure maximum uptime for bank systems.Maintains positive relationships with internal customers, vendors and development team members.Coaches and mentors junior team members in advanced scripting practices.Works with vendors to resolve issues.Works collaboratively with the automation development team to address technical issues and problems while driving software improvements.Complies with all related Federal, State and Industry laws and regulations pertaining to Banking.BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other similar program; or comparable professional work experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in PowerShell, Windows Batch scripting or an object oriented languageStrong Windows experienceStrong troubleshooting skillsExcellent organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skillsAvailable to travel to office and service providerExcellent technical support documentation skills ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with a financial organization with retail or commercial experienceExperience working with Fiserv processes/productsExperience leading the migrating of Windows Batch scripts to PowerShellCIT is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity.
