Schedule: 30 hours per week; traditionally Monday - Friday 10:00
am-5:00 pm with potential flexibility; occasional evening and
weekend work may be required Salary: Targeted prorated salary
range: $34,020-$36,500 Travel: Less than 10% Brief Statement of
Duties Brief Statement of Duties: Work independently to support the
director with implementing policies, processes and procedures
related to Equal Opportunity (EO) and Title IX laws and
regulations. Responsible for data gathering and reporting for the
University's affirmative action plan and other compliance-related
activities. Review and guide search processes and serve as a
resource for EO related matters. Assist with and/or lead EO and
Title IX investigations including meeting with relevant parties,
data compilation, case tracking, and reporting. Assist with
preparing materials and presenting training on EO and Title IX
laws, regulations, policies, processes and procedures. Minimum
Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Discipline /
Degree Area: Required Specialized--Training/Certifications:
Required Minimum Work Experience: Three years of professional
experience with issues related to Equal Opportunity, Human
Resources and/or Title IX. Or
Three years of professional work experience in a student services
or compliance-related role in higher education. Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance--of
the Position Duties: Ability to learn and understand the
application of State and Federal laws, policies, and procedures
related to Equal Opportunity and Title IX.
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in difficult
and sensitive situations.
Ability to meet deadlines and complete work with a high degree of
accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to interact with diverse groups of students, faculty,
staff, and outside constituents in a manner that positively
reflects upon the department and university.
Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
Critical-thinking and data analysis skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, written and oral.
Self-directed and willing to take initiative to accomplish work.

Qualifications: Experience working with individuals who may be in
distress and/or handling difficult situations.
Experience working in a university or educational setting.
