Cook – Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield Full-Time | Non-Exempt About the Role: The Cook at Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong understanding of food safety practices. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering a great experience for all travelers and guests. What you will do: Prepare food items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. Ensure all food is made with attention to quality, freshness, and safety. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Follow all health, sanitation, and safety procedures, including proper food handling and storage. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team to meet service demands. Restock and rotate food supplies as needed throughout the shift. Communicate any equipment or food supply concerns to the Supervisor promptly. Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and preparation tasks. What you will bring: At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices. Ability to follow recipes and adhere to portion and presentation standards. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Dependable with strong time management and multitasking skills. Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Prior experience in airport or travel-related food service settings. ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification is a plus. Compensation details: 18-21 Hourly Wage PId83eabf88062-31181-39967034
