Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a dynamic, experienced Executive Chef to
oversee and elevate the food service program at the University of
Nebraska. This role is pivotal in designing innovative menus,
maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and managing
a talented team of culinary professionals. The Executive Chef will
work closely with university staff and students to ensure our food
service exceeds expectations while reflecting Aramarks commitment
to excellence and innovation in every meal served. Develop and
implement innovative menu selections that meet the needs and
preferences of a diverse university population. Manage all kitchen
operations ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a
collaborative and efficient workplace. Collaborate with suppliers
to source high-quality ingredients. Continuously assess and improve
food service operations based on feedback from students and
university staff. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial
planning for the food service department. Strong leadership and
communication skills Expertise in menu planning and budget
management Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
Ability to inspire and lead a team Knowledge of food safety
