Job Title: Locum Physician - Anesthesiology

Summary:

This facility performs approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries annually and is committed to patient-centric care while navigating a staffing shortage. As a locum physician, you'll enjoy a supportive environment with modern EMR systems and a variety of surgical cases.

• Administer general anesthesia for diverse surgical procedures, including orthopedic, gynecological, and urological cases.
• Oversee patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with anesthesia staff, CRNAs, and technicians to deliver optimal care.
• Manage independent cases while ensuring effective use of available resources.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC EMR.

• Board certified in Anesthesiology.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Experience in labor & delivery, spine, and interventional radiology preferred.
• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
• Availability for a flexible schedule.

• Iowa medical license preferred (IMLC candidates are considered).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certifications.
• The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of presentation date.
