Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha,
Nebraska, 68105! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of
prior Telemetry experience in a large urban hospital. License: RN
License required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
Must-Have: - Must have epic charting experience. - Must be 100%
nicotine free. - Must float within scope to meet facility needs.
Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in
Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. The unit is designed to
test and validate innovative models of care and technology. There
are 17 patient rooms divided into zones, with plans for
adaptability in care models. The primary patient population
includes adult medical-surgical patients. Labor and delivery and
pediatrics are not included in the patient population. The primary
nursing care model involves assigning one RN to a group of
patients. The nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5 for days and 1:5-6
for nights. Current projects include Virtual Nursing, Virtual
Sitter, and Ambient Monitoring. An interactive patient experience
platform is also being implemented. Patient diagnoses include
various conditions such as respiratory failure and kidney disease.
Special procedures and equipment for care practices are utilized
within the unit. The facility operates on a weekend schedule,
requiring 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period. Holidays will
also be required as per the established guidelines. Requested time
off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers must
adhere to compliance documentation deadlines. This is a
nicotine-free facility, and all staff must comply with the policy.
