MRI Tech Location: Kearney, NE Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $2,100 to $2,300 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) Location: Kearney, NE Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift (12 hours x 3 days/week) Pay Rate: $2100 – $2300 per week Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable MRI Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Kearney, NE for a 13-week contract. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort, particularly during night shift operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants and contraindications Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality images Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to any concerns Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI equipment Review images for diagnostic quality before submission Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Follow strict MRI safety and infection control guidelines Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members Requirements: ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent Active state license (Nebraska, if required) Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience BLS certification (required) Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and safety protocols Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently in a night shift setting
