Job Description:
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in social work ( MSW ),
student affairs/higher education, sociology, psychology or related
field. Experience in advocacy role supporting people impacted by
power-based violence. Experience working in educational or
prevention role with an emphasis in power-based violence.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative
relationships with multiple agencies to aid in coordinating
effective responses for clients. Demonstrated ability to work
independently and to balance advocating for multiple clients,
responding to crisis calls, scheduled client appointments and
walk-in clients and manage caseloads. Knowledge of best practices
related to victim advocacy Familiarity with the ethical standards
for victim advocacy. Strong crisis intervention and consultation
skills.
