in Omaha, Nebraska, 68130! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Must-Have: Driver's license required Description: This position is
for an ICU Registered Nurse. The unit has a variety of ICU acuity
patients. Common diagnoses include ventilated patients, BIS
scoring, and TTM. Occasionally, IABP patients will be present. RNs
will be required to titrate drips. Common titratable and set rate
drips include vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, heparin,
octreotide, and insulin. There is a charge nurse on each shift. The
charge nurse may take an assignment. There are no nurse aides or
patient care technicians on this unit. eICU support is available in
14 rooms. Scheduling is done in a 6-week cycle. Nurses are expected
to work weekends every other week. Holiday rotations will occur
with permanent staff. Floating may be required to PCU or MedSurg.
Scrub color is navy blue. The unit offers classroom orientation and
hands-on shifts. The ideal candidate is a positive nurse willing to
work collaboratively as part of a team. A clear fingernail policy
is enforced; artificial nails are prohibited. Refusal to comply may
lead to termination of contract. The hospital has a cancellation
policy in place. Shifts may be canceled under specific conditions.
The charting system used is EPIC. This position requires a BSN. All
