Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,242 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Surgical Tech - CVOR Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required License: BLS required Certifications: ACLS preferred, NBSTSA preferred Must-Have: Experience with the following CVOR cases: - CABG - MVR - AVR - Aortic Root - Aortic Dissection - LVAD - Heart Transplant - Lung Transplant - Aortic Aneurysm Repair Experience with General Surgery is required. Previous scrubs experience is required. Level 1 Trauma experience is highly preferred. First-time travelers will not be accepted unless they have 3 years of experience at a Level 1 trauma center with a 690 bed hospital and 3-6 cases per day. DaVinci experience is highly preferred. Candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility. Description: Weeknight call requirements: 1-2 nights per week on average. Weekend call required: every 1-2 weekends on average. Block schedule cannot be accommodated. 3-6 cases per day. Patients may include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Common cases include CABG, MVR, AVR, and others. Daily census averages 3-6 cases per day. All applicants must have experience in instrument processing and sterilization/disinfection. Must be able to float to General OR if low CVOR case volume occurs. Aseptic technique and knowledge of various surgical procedures are necessary. Facility is a nicotine-free environment. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start date. Requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Scrubs in grey with logo will be provided for travelers, while OR scrubs will be supplied by the facility. Weekend shifts are required based on scheduling. All contracts must end on a Sunday.
