ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Kearney, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM • Every other weekend requirement • First to float to PCU for Med Surg assignment unless telemetry trained • Patient ratios: 1:6 maximum, day shift Monday-Friday are 1:5 • 23-bed unit • Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS • Holiday requirements: Cannot request more than 1 holiday off during contract (typically applicable May-September and November-January) • Up to 2 required extra shifts per 6 weeks • ASAP start date available • EPIC charting system • BSN not required • Trauma Level 3 facility • Acute care setting • Client may give 2-week notice and call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks Facility: This regional medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing acute care services to the surrounding community.
