Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. RN’s - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated. Special Requests: Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: At least every 3rd, at times every other. Holiday Requirements: Rotation per unit needs. Self scheduling with manager approving. Floating Requirements: Can float to ED to be back up help if volumes surg. An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
