Job Description Orthopedic Surgery opening in Nebraska* Located in *Hastings, NE* - 106m from Lincoln; 161m from Omaha* Full time, permanent opening* Currently, the practice has a staff of 3 experienced PA-Cs and 1 Surgeon * Since 1956, the practice has been active in Hastings and surrounding communities, providing the finest orthopedic care. * With a broadening focus on sports medicine, the practice continues to care for high school, college, and professional athletes through sports medicine and athletic training programs.* The broader healthcare center offers a highly competitive compensation package, which includes an exceptional benefits package.The healthcare center is an excellent choice for the candidate who is seeking a career in a progressive, vibrant medical community at a state-of-the-art hospital facility. Our medical staff includes just over 100 physicians, with represented specialties including nephrology, pulmonology/critical care, cardiology, infectious disease, general surgery, general internal medicine, family practice, otorhinolaryngology, neurology, psychiatry, physiatry, psychiatry, pediatrics, radiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, and urology. In addition, the hospital operates a 20-bed inpatient Behavioral Services Unit, a 10 bed medical ICU, inpatient rehabilitation facility, medical/surgical unit, progressive care (telemetry) unit, inpatient pediatric unit, obstetrical services with an 8-bed NICU, Level III trauma services in an 8-bed Emergency Department, surgical facilities, cath lab, certified primary stroke center, and complete diagnostic services.
