Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Grand Island, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,506 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience required. License: License Required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: 3 years of labor and delivery experience, ability to pass an exam during orientation. Description: Candidates must not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated facility. Driver's license is required and will be verified for residency. Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments. Refusal to comply will result in termination of the contract. RN's must pass an exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90% to avoid termination. The department has 15 LDRP beds and 15 postpartum beds. Patients include obstetrics, postpartum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, and those with pregnancy complications such as HTN or diabetes. RNs are required to titrate specific drips, including Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia. Staff floating is rare and limited to critical staffing needs. A Charge Nurse is present on each shift and does take an assignment. RNs are not required to manage respiratory equipment beyond troubleshooting. There are no Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit and RNs are not required to read their own strips. Shifts are 12 hours long, and scheduling is managed by the manager. Every other weekend and holiday work is expected, if necessary. There is no call or standby requirement. The unit has high patient experience scores and is known for providing exceptional patient care. Charting is managed through Epic.
