qualified Neuro RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105! Job Title: Registered

nicotine-free facility Description: This role requires a registered
nurse with experience in medical surgical and telemetry care. The
nurse will work in a mixed acuity unit caring for patients with
neurological and surgical needs. Patient assignments may include up
to five medical-surgical patients on the unit. The unit encompasses
48 beds specializing in neurology and neurosurgery. Patients may
present with strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and
other neurological conditions. Day ratios for medical surgical and
telemetry patients are typically 1:5, while night ratios may reach
1:7. Stepdown ratios are expected to be 1:3-4. Nurses will need to
manage drips and have experience with various telemetry monitoring
protocols. Candidates must be prepared to float within scope as
required by the facility. Floating may include units such as
stepdown or observation, depending on the needs. Travelers must be
capable of working weekends, with 4 weekend shifts out of 8
possible within a 4-week period. Working on major holidays is also
required; candidates must be prepared for this expectation. All
applicants should be nicotine-free, and hiring includes a
compliance review. This position demands a high level of
