Doctor of Medicine | Otolaryngology Location: Kearney, NE Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician for a locum tenens assignment providing 24-hour on-call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center . This role focuses on weekend coverage to support emergency and trauma services and ensure continuous ENT availability. Assignment Details Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Otolaryngology (ENT) Coverage Model: 24-Hour On-Call FTE: 0.33 Setting: Level II Trauma Center (Hospital-Based) Start Dates (2026 Coverage Blocks): July 03 (12:00 PM) – July 06 (7:00 AM) September 04 (7:00 AM) – September 08 (7:00 AM) December 24 (7:00 AM) – December 28 (7:00 AM) Pay: Inquire for details Key Responsibilities Provide 24/7 ENT call coverage during assigned coverage periods Respond to consults and trauma/ED requests as needed Manage inpatient and emergency ENT cases Perform required ENT surgical and procedural interventions Collaborate with trauma, emergency, anesthesia, and surgical teams Required Procedures Adenoidectomy Tonsillectomy Audiogram interpretation Lump/tumor removal Schedule & Call Expectations Weekend-focused coverage On-site presence when called in by ED or trauma physicians Average daily patient volume: 2–4 patients EMR & Support EMR: EPIC Support Staff: Anesthesia team, CRNAs, and Surgical Department staff Credentialing Estimated Timeframe: 30–90 days Credentialing Type: Single facility Degree Required: MD or DO Submission Requirements Updated CV / Work History Skill Checklist Two current supervisory professional references Requirements Requirements Board Certified in Otolaryngology – REQUIRED Active Nebraska medical license or ability to obtain (compact license accepted) Active DEA Clean malpractice history NPDB Self-Query report (dated within 30 days at presentation) Availability confirmed at time of name clear Benefits ??
