skilled Registered Nurses with stepdown experience for a rewarding
13-week contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to
provide specialized care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting,
with occasional assignments floating to Medical-Surgical units,
ensuring a dynamic and enriching work environment. Location:
Minden, NE Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to
patients in the PCU, focusing on cardiac and critical care. -
Monitor, assess, and manage patient conditions using professional
nursing skills and clinical judgment. - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans. - Provide
support and care in Med-Surg units as needed, demonstrating
flexibility and adaptability. - Maintain accurate documentation and
ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.
Qualifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
or multi-state compact licensure. - Valid BLS (Basic Life Support),
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National
Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications. - Experience in
stepdown nursing or progressive care, preferably with cardiac
patient expertise. - Strong critical thinking skills, attention to
detail, and ability to work independently. - Excellent
