Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in both CT
and X-ray License: North Eastern state radiology license required
Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), BLS - AHA or ARC Must-Have: -
Two years of experience in both CT and X-ray - Current BLS
certification - ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) preferred Description: The
position involves performing CT and X-ray procedures in an acute
care setting. Candidates must have two years of experience in both
modalities. BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required. ARRT
certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography is preferred.
The work schedule consists of seven consecutive 12-hour night
shifts from Wednesday to Wednesday with no call duty. All shifts
will be scheduled from 1900 to 0630. Candidates must meet the
minimum qualifications related to experience and licensure. No
local candidates will be accepted, as there is a 50-mile radius
restriction. Candidates should be prepared to work during holidays,
with typical requirements around December 24 and January 1. The
facility has GE Apex and GE Optima 660 scanners for CT, as well as
GE Proteus for X-ray. Portable X-rays available are of Fuji and
Shimadzu brands. Cancellation policies state that notice can be
given with a two-week notice. This position requires a commitment
to providing quality patient care in a trauma level 3 setting.
